A Few Thoughts

Several stories have caught my attention this week and they all share the same foundation, shame, or a lack of some. Allow me to share my thoughts with you on them.

The Chicago Blackhawks image took a major body blow this week when their independent investigation into the John Doe sexual assault allegations was made public. Last night John Doe identified himself as Kyle Beach. His bravery, in not only coming forward as the person alleged to have been assaulted, but in bringing this assault to the attention of the Hawks management, cannot be overstated.

The Blackhawks response to his bringing this forward was shameful, and the people involved in the cover up deserve what is happening to them today. All but two of the management team is out of hockey, and you can bet the commissioner will be handing down punishment to the two remaining men still involved in the NHL.

There is way too much of this going on in the sports world, and life in general, and it needs to be swiftly, and strongly, identified and stopped. We have enough problems without letting creeps and predators infect our world.

Speaking of creeps, this punk, Kyle Rittenhouse, had his mother drive him to Kenosha so that he could shoot protestors with his assault rifle. He was barely 18 and she happily did it. Here is the thing, that isn't even the stupidest part of this story.

As you would expect, and hope, this clown is on trial for murdering two people. The judge, Bruce Schroeder, has told the prosecution he will not allow the men that were shot and killed to be called victims, but he will allow the defense to refer to them as looters and arsonists.

I thought this was a joke when I first read it but in fact it is true. This is why the country has lost faith in the legal system and why Wisconsin will remain a third world state. This is a shame and a disgrace.

Speaking of disgraceful, the Republicans in the Senate have shown what they think of Democracy, and our government, since Joe Biden was elected. They have gone out of their way to bring the business of the Senate to a screaming halt. They have used all the tactics allowed to stop anything from being done.

Biden is not being allowed to nominate and confirm ambassadors, cabinet members, or judges. He can't bring bills to the floor because the GOP will filibuster them. The only thing you hear from the GOP is no, no, no, no.

There used to be a time when if your party lost an election you felt bad for a few days and then you continued to help the country move forward with the new administration. The GOP has decided that those days are over forever. What a bunch of asswipes and losers. If America doesn't wake up and vote these idiots out, we are in for a major collapse of our lifestyle.

While I am on the subject of Republican idiocy, this nonstop, election audit bullshit going on in almost every Republican run state that Trump lost is getting boring. They keep hiring the stupidest people around to run these audits, people with no background in how to do one, and guess what, even they can't find anything wrong with the 2020 election.

I don't know how else to say this, but here goes. To the 60% of Republicans who believe Biden should be thrown out of office and Trump reinstated, GET THE FUCK OVER IT ALREADY!

You morons lost. There was no widespread stealing of an election going on. It is over. Move on with your life already. For god's sake how stupid are you people? I can't believe that anyone on earth actually believes anything that comes out of that asshole Trump's mouth.

Our last shameful story is the two goofs pictured above. Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have blocked President Joe Biden's economic bill for months now, with no end in sight. They need to be reminded that he was elected by an overwhelming majority of people who wanted this package to become law. The fact that they have a problem with some, or all, of it is not their role here.

They need to get on board with the rest of the Democratic party, or Biden needs to call them to the White House, and announce to them that if they don't pass this, they will be primaried in their next election cycle, and they will never get a bill passed ever again of their own.

I'm tired of their crap.
