Just when I think I can no longer be shocked by the complete insanity inside the GOP they go and prove me wrong. Today I would like to share with you some things that you will not believe but are completely true. The once proud GOP has sunk to their lowest level ever.
Let's start with the defacto leader of the party in the US House of Representatives, Marjorie Taylor Greene. You know her as MTG and she has taken over as the face and voice of the party and for good reason with her position on the following.
Since Sunday here are the things she has proposed. She wants a national divorce for the country where the red states leave America to the blue states. She has laid out what life would be like in her beloved Red states America and not surprisingly it centers around anti LGBTQ+ issues.
According to her, "Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat's traitorous America Last policies, we are done." She wasn't done. "In Red states there would be varying degrees of more traditional public education, charter schools, homeschooling, technical training, and college and universities. Red states would likely ban all gender lies and confusing theories, Drag Queen story times and LGBTQ+ indoctrinating teachers, and China's money and influence in our education, while Blue states could have government controlled gender transition schools."
She was just getting started. "Red states would have prayer in public schools, stand for the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem, while the Blue states could pledge allegiance to their identity ideologs and their BLM flags. This would also reduce the size of the Federal government." I guess the Feds will not need to do anything for the Red states or was she insinuating the Feds would not help the Blue states? Either way she's nuts.
That was just Sunday. Then yesterday she called for President Biden to be impeached for going to meet with the leader of Ukraine. She didn't give a reason but she has in the past called for the US to support Russia and not Ukraine. This is interesting because she had said Sunday that the Democrats had an America Last policy but she is advocating supporting Russia. Maybe she loves Russia more than America?
Wait, there is more from her. Last night on Hannity she demanded that anyone who moves from a Blue state to a Red state should not be allowed to vote for five years. Hannity agreed that this was a fine idea. For a group that loves to read the constitution on the floor of the house nine times a week they apparently aren't listening to what they are saying because all these ideas are unconstitutional. But details I guess. As a friend pointed out to me, the GOP is only interested in the second amendment and not even the whole amendment just the first part.
Her boss in name only, The Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-Confused), has been asked by the press for a month now to give them the GOP priorities under his leadership. Good news, he finally came through with his list yesterday and it is surprising. Here is the complete agenda for the GOP.
They plan on getting to the bottom of where Covid came from because we deserve the truth.
They will dig deep to find out why the DOJ has gone after parents. I must say I have no idea what the hell he is talking about.
They will also find out once and for all why Americans died in Afghanistan. I'm pretty sure there was a war going on and that may have contributed to many of the deaths but I will wait until the GOP clears this up.
What was surprising is that none of these issues made the GOP list of priorities.

Securing the border
Russia/Ukraine
Crime
Hunter Biden and his laptop
Racism/woke-ism
Healthcare and repealing Obamacare
China
Immigration
Education and the teaching of radical liberal agendas
Medicare/Social Security
Overhauling the energy systems
I guess even though they can't shut up about the above issues they can wait while we find out where Covid came from. OK.
I know you're thinking that is some long list of crazy shit Dan. Wow my head hurts from all this. Guess what? None of what you've already read even comes close to the craziest thing going on in the new look GOP.
Say hello to Alaska State Representative David Eastman (R). Eastman wears several hats for GOP up there. Besides being a state rep, he was one of the rioters at The Capitol on January 6th, and he is a lifetime member of the Oath Keepers a right wing violent mob intent on overthrowing the government. Stunningly, none of that is what makes him crazy here, although it helps.
The proud Mr. Eastman, in a hearing in the Alaska House last week on fatal abuse of children and how and what needs to be done to stop it and help the children said, and I promise I'm not making this up, "In the cases where child abuse is fatal it's actually a benefit to society because there aren't needs for government services and whatnot through the child's life."
I'm at a loss for words here. WTF is wrong with these people? Is there a test I've missed that you need to take to make sure that you are crazy enough to be in the GOP now? It is depressing as a human when someone like MTG is not the craziest person in the party in a given week. And remember this is just since Sunday for the GOP.
I'm sorry to have to bring you down with all this but I felt strongly that I should not be the only one with a headache.
