It's Over

I couldn't decide if I should comment on the recent events relating to Tiger Woods but after reading how he is treating those around him I felt I needed to say something.
Tiger, you need to get professional help and you need to do it now before you seriously hurt someone. Enough is enough already.

Tiger is the poster child for entitled celebrity. If any non famous person was involved in the crashes that he has been involved in they would have lost their license and might even still be in jail. They surely would have had family and friends demanding that they get help and even go into rehab. But because he is who he is the DUI charges might not even stick.
According to sources, and the two in particular I've read are very close to his inner circle, he has pushed back on those close to him about getting his life in order. He is insisting that he can handle things and that there is nothing to worry about.
That is what delusion sounds like.
He has been lucky that he hasn't seriously hurt anyone but himself but if he keeps driving impaired he eventually will hurt either one of his kids, his girlfriend, or worse, an innocent driver on the road minding their own business when he creams them. This is not healthy.
I'm already seeing some in the press make excuses for him and that is the last thing that they need to be doing. It is time he hears from everyone that he is a danger and he needs help. Continuing to accept this behavior is contributing to potential serious harm.

The days of this guy staying in golf are done. The PGA tour, the USGA, the PGA of America, and the Royal and Ancient all need to step in and tell him he is not welcome to their tournaments until he gets himself under control. That will be the moment he has an epiphany and gets himself into rehab. Nothing else will reach his brain.

Right now he is this sad figure and allowing him to be involved in professional golf, for any reason, says you are OK with his criminal behavior. And I'm talking to you The Golf Channel. Stop idolizing him and start telling the real story about his unacceptable behavior. Look, he was not the nicest guy to begin with and now with his propensity of driving impaired, to keep putting him on a pedestal is just shameful. Stop it.
This is what happens when you drive impaired and you shouldn't be rewarded for it.
