Like Our Country Depends On It

My original plan was to write this as a list of horrible things this felon and his thugs have done in the past two years but I decided that most of you already are aware of what they are and for those still supporting this piece of crap it won't change your mind anyway.

Here is what I did want you to know.

I am not a blind supporter of Democrats or Republicans. In fact I have voted for and against both parties in my life. I basically only have one bar I expect politicians to meet and that is I expect them to be decent, democracy loving people. I think that is a pretty easy bar for people to hit to earn my vote.

This year, while I will continue to hold them to that level, I also feel it is time that we begin to take back our country and democracy. The lawlessness of those in power right now is staggering. Refusal to obey court orders, ignoring judicial judgements, and outright tearing up of the Constitution has turned us into a third world country.

Now that it looks like there is going to be a reckoning for the GOP, they are going out of their way to suppress and effect our elections. They are trying to put up roadblocks, misdirections, and blatant criminal activities in order to keep people from voting. Strangely they only seem to be worried about voters in traditional blue voting cities and states.

Seventy seven million of you dopes voted the felon into office, again, because he promised to lower your costs and bring down the price of eggs. How did that turn out for you? Gas is reaching an all time high, so is diesel fuel, and groceries are out of control. Add in the crazy high cost of health care because they eliminated the subsidies in order to give the top 1% a tax break, and we can't do anything because we don't have the money. Oh, and deeper cuts to medical coverage are coming in January.

We are involved in another never ending war started by Republicans that is directly costing us $2000 a year according to government accounting agencies. Not to mention we have tossed aside our allies, weakened NATO and the UN, and are now helping Russia in their war against the Ukraine. What is happening here?

I'm not going to change the mind of a single one of you when it comes to your vote, and I shouldn't. Instead I only ask that you do vote. It is more than your right, it is your duty to our country. Think about who you are voting for and ask yourself this question.
